What Is VO2 Max?
VO2 Max is the maximum rate at which an individual can deliver oxygen to working muscles during intense exercise. This test not only determines your aerobic limit, but also determines lactate (ventilatory) thresholds and training zones.
Many training programs use "Zones" for training, and nearly all training programs utilize the concept of lactate / ventilatory threshold as a key metric to improve.

How does a VO2 Max test work?
- You'll be wearing a lab-grade mask that measures oxygen intake and carbon dioxide output
- You'll be on a treadmill running at progressively increasing speeds
- The test will be finished when your VO2 max has been reached
- You'll receive a report detailing your results and important training insights like aerobic threshold, anaerobic threshold, VO2 max, max heart-rate, ventilatory threshold, and more
