Backroads Endurance Company approaches the sport of running from a variety of perspectives. A running injury isn't simply an inconvenience - it's time away from your community, your goals, and your purpose.
Working with Backroads means your care will be approached with everything we have available. You'll collaborate with us on your Rehab Roadmap, which details exactly what to do and when to do it. We'll use a running-specific evaluation, gait analysis, shoe analysis, and years of running knowledge to make your return to running as quick as possible.
And if you want to take a step beyond aches & pains, check out our Performance offerings like VO2max, Resting Metabolic Rate testing, and coaching offers.

Dr. Blake Dircksen
PT, DPT, CSCS
Owner, Backroads Endurance Company
Blake took his curiosity for endurance performance and turned it into an Exercise Science Bachelor's degree from Indiana University. Grad school took him to New York City where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University.
Blake has competed at the high school and college level and has raced distances from 400m to 50k ultras. He's Assistant Coach to, and alumni of, Noblesville High School, where he can still (just barely) make the top-7 varsity roster.
Blake maintains client care with collegiate and recreational clients in New York throughout the year, lives in Indiana, and travels to Colorado each summer to work with Team Prep USA, a high altitude running camp for high school athletes.
